OUR PILATES

In 2015, we noticed a gap in the Kuching market where there were no Pilates centres available to provide such services to the community. Rehab Concept was then conceived to address this lack as our founder is a fully certified Pilates instructor who has just returned to Kuching after spending 6 years practising in Singapore.

Rehab Concept provides both Clinical and Studio Pilates in our two centres where we incorporate Pilates into our clinical practice in order to optimise your recovery. Pilates can help with conditions such as:

  • Sports injuries
  • Hip pain
  • Knee pain
  • Arthritis joint pain
  • Scoliosis
  • Strength and conditioning

Studio Pilates classes are available in our Kuching in-house studio – Core Pilates. Various classes are available for booking HERE.

    TYPES OF PILATES

     

    PRIVATE 1-to-1 Session

    • Individualised 1-1 session with our instructors using the reformer machine, mat, and other pilates equipment, tailored towards your personal goals.
    • We also provide 1-1 prenatal & postnatal sessions for those who prefer a more focused and guided workout session with our instructors, tailored specifically towards your individual needs.

      SEMI PRIVATE 1-to-2 Session

      If you enjoy a great private workout session with just a friend or partner, this class is ideal for the both of you!

      REFORMER GROUP CLASS

      This is a small group class of 6 which uses the reformer machines as well as small props to guarantee a full body workout targeting both flexibility and strength.

       

      PRENATAL REFORMER GROUP CLASS

      Pre-natal reformer class is great for mommys-to-be! It prepares one for childbirth by strengthening our pelvic floor, the core and gluteal muscles which in turn helps to reduce the risk of incontinence and back pain during and after pregnancy.

       

      POST NATAL PILATES

      Postnatal pilates is designed specifically for women after childbirth to speed up their postpartum recovery, and to address any issues they may have had during pregnancy and delivery (e.g. diastasis recti, pelvic floor weakness, incontinence, low back pain, etc.)

       

      MATWORK GROUP CLASS

      Matwork classes use bodyweight movements and small props throughout the session instead of the reformer machines. It is a class that caters to both the beginners and experienced Pilates enthusiasts, guaranteed to make you work up a sweat!
